Knowledge Day 2025 – Hafnarfjörður companies open their doors
The very first Knowledge Day of the Marketing Office of Hafnarfjörður will be held next Saturday. A number of Hafnarfjörður-based businesses will then open their doors, inviting guests to have a look inside and learn about what they do.

„I'm very excited about this first Knowledge Day,“ says Þóra Hrund Guðbrandsdóttir, Managing Director of the Marketing Agency, about a number of Hafnarfjörður businesses welcoming visitors and passers-by to the first Knowledge Day, which the Marketing Agency is holding next Saturday between 11 am and 3 pm.
„The aim of the day is to showcase the many fantastic and brilliant businesses that operate here in Hafnarfjörður. This includes artists and the self-employed. It's the whole spectrum, from those who work independently to larger companies,“ she emphasises.
Among the participants are:
- Bjarni Sig opens his ceramics studio
- Feel Iceland with a pop-up at Thorsplan
- Ice horses pay a visit
- Women's strength at an open training session
- The Herjólf Steam will have a blast for guests.

„We want to show the diversity in the business world and how many companies are doing fantastic and exciting things,“ says Thora. „It's so much fun to get the opportunity to look behind the scenes and see how companies work, to meet the owners and the people behind the businesses.“
Thóra says most events are open to everyone, but it is important to register, for example, to take part in the plunge at Herjólfsgufan.
