• 0709109 – South Coast Heat, shareholding of the City of Hafnarfjörður

  The meeting was attended by the town solicitor, Stefán Geir Þórisson, the City of Hafnarfjörður's solicitor, together with the solicitor Ólafur Örn Svansson, in legal proceedings against Orkuveita Reykjavíkur, and they reported on the district court's ruling.

  The Town Council welcomes the judgment of the Reykjavík District Court of 18. March 2009, in which Orkuveita Reykjavíkur is ordered to pay the City of Hafnarfjörður for the city's share in HS Orka hf and HS Veitur hf (formerly Hitaveita Suðurnesja hf), together with interest, and expresses its sincere thanks to the city's lawyers for their work.
