      The Personnel Manager attended the meeting and reported on the status of the collective bargaining agreements.

      A communication from Strætó bs dated 23 May 2011 has been submitted, drawing attention to the information technology conference InformNorden in Malmö, Sweden, from 7 to 9 September.

    • 10021070 – Employment Service, Hafnarfjörður Employment Centre

      Appointment of 1 representative to the board.

      The town council appoints Jóna Ósk Guðjónsdóttir to the board.

    • 1105479 – Risk assessment of the Civil Protection Committee of the Capital Region

      Drafts of the Civil Protection Committee of the Capital Region's risk assessment for Hafnarfjörður on the one hand, and the capital region as a whole on the other, were presented.Fire Chief and Executive Director of the committee, Jón Viðar Matthíasson, attended the meeting and presented the draft.

    • 1010873 – 2010 Municipal Tax Return, Capital Gains Tax

      Taken up again. The finance director reported on the status of the matter.

      The town council agrees to seek a court ruling on the dispute.

    • 1103239 – Interim Statement 2011

      The financial director reviewed the results for January–April 2011.

    • 1104347 – Loan refinancing

      A report from Reitunar ehf, dated 27th May, regarding the loan eligibility assessment was presented.

    • 1106059 – Disabled people, issues, ownership and rental of property

      The status of ownership and management of properties under the remit was reviewed. The operational aspects of the matter were also reported. The Finance Manager and Operations Manager of the Social Services attended the meeting and reviewed the matter.

      The Town Council agrees to instruct a working group, to be composed of staff from the Family Services and Operations departments, to review the property matters and submit a recommendation to the Town Council regarding ownership.

    • 1104027-1 – Vacant plots and prices 2011

      Review vacant plots in established neighbourhoods.

    • 1106046 – Áslandsskóli sports hall, a challenge

      A petition from the Ásland School Parents' Association, along with supporting signature lists, was submitted regarding the construction of a sports hall at the school.

    Applications

    • 1105242 – Skúlaskeið 42, enquiry regarding plot extension.

      The application from Jón Snorri Bergþórsson, dated 1 June 2011, requesting an extension to the above-mentioned plot, was presented. The Planning and Building Committee gave its approval to the application at its meeting on 24 May.

      The Town Council proposes to the Municipal Council: The Municipal Council of Hafnarfjörður approves granting Jón Snorri Bergþórsson a plot extension for the above-mentioned plot in accordance with the available documentation and the further conditions of the Town Planner and Building Inspector.“

      The minutes of the Strætó board meetings of 10 December 2010, 4 February, 25 March and 29 April were presented.
