Local Government Act
The Town Council instructs the Mayor and the Commission of the Mayor to review the bylaws and prepare the necessary amendments to the regulations. A letter from the Ministry of the Interior, dated ..., has been received. 16 September 2011, in which the Ministry of the Interior announces that it has approved the changes made in June to the by-law on the governance of the Municipality of Hafnarfjörður and the rules of procedure of the town council.

A submission from the Knattspurnufélagið Haukar, dated 14 September 2011, regarding a review of the operating grant was presented. The sports representative attended the meeting and went over the matter.
The Town Council requests a report from the Supervisory Board on the finances of sports and leisure clubs regarding the matter.$line$$line$Furthermore, a plan is requested from the football club Haukar on how to address the current operational difficulties.

The outcome regarding the plot extension for the Hjallastefnunar/Bak-Hjalla Ltd school, in accordance with the town council's resolution of 26th May, was presented. The town's solicitor outlined the outcome.
