A query from Darri Gunnarsson, sent by email on 26 July 2012, regarding the price of stables plots was presented.
The town council refers the matter to the mayor for further consideration.

1011004 – Gasfélagið ehf., extension of lease agreement
A renewed application from Gasfélagið ehf, submitted by email on 3 August 2012, for an extension of the lease agreement. The Planning and Building Officer has no objections to the application, but the area's detailed plan has now come into effect.
Gunnar Axel Axelsson declared a conflict of interest, which the town council accepted, and he then left the meeting. The Town Council, acting on behalf of the Municipal Council, agrees to extend the lease agreement for the Gasfélagið ehf site by 25 years, until 2036.
