  Björn Pétursson attended the meeting and reported on developments in the museum's activities during its anniversary year.

• Artwork acquisition, loan

  A report on how the municipalities of Akureyri and Kópavogur have handled art loans and the effect such loans have on art sales.

  The committee welcomed the arrangement for art loans and instructed the cultural and tourism representative to further explore the interest of banks and the loan terms on offer.

• 0803068 – Víðistaðatún, campsite service building

  Hafnarfjörður Property Company is reported to be aiming for the new service building at the campsite to be operational on 25 June.

  The committee emphasises that this timetable for the opening of the service building is to be met and publicised to ensure maximum use of the campsite for the remainder of the summer.

  The work plan of the Family Department was presented for information.

• 0806021 – Hafnarfjörður Theatre, Annual Report and Accounts 2007.

  Account and report presented.

  A legal opinion was requested from the town's finance director, and for him to review the account.
