• 0804191 – Information board at Seltún in Krýsuvík.

  The cultural and tourism officer presented the proposal for information panels at Seltún. The panels have been produced in consultation with the Reykjanes Nature Reserve board and the Environmental Agency, and are funded by the Tourist Board. It is planned that the five panels will be erected in May.

  The proposal that has been put forward was discussed and considered.;

• 0903130 – Tourist Information Centre 2009

  The Visitor Centre will be closed at weekends this summer, and the tourist information service will be moved to the Folk Museum at weekends. The tourist information centre will therefore be in two locations this summer.

  The committee proposes that the Tourist Information Centre moves to the Folk Museum permanently this summer, not just at weekends.;

• 0903129 – May Day 2009, agreement

  An agreement with the Scouts for the First of May has been presented, but as in previous years, the Scouts will run the programme on Thorsplan in collaboration with the Office of Culture and Tourism.

  The matter discussed.;

• 0902266 – Cultural Grants 2009, applications and grants

  Talk about the grant awards on 2 April at Gúttó at 17:00.
