• 0702078 – Election of chairman and vice-chairman of the Culture and Tourism Committee.

  Gunnar Axel Axelsson proposed that Helena Mjöll Jóhannsdóttir be made deputy chair of the committee and that he take the chair. The proposal was unanimously approved.;

• 0806094 – Hafnarfjörður Theatre

  Discussion on the review/renewal of the agreement with the Ministry of Education and the Hafnarfjörður Theatre, which expires at the end of the year. Discussion on the theatre's annual accounts and annual report and the municipal finance director's review.

  The Cultural and Tourism Officer reported that the Minister of Education could meet the committee to discuss the continuation of the agreement on 16 July. It was decided that the entire committee would attend the meeting with the Minister, together with the Cultural and Tourism Officer.;
