Resumed from the previous council meeting. An email from the Finance Director of the YMCA and YWCA in Iceland was presented.
The matter is awaiting resolution, and an interim report is requested for the next council meeting, outlining an assessment of the operation and performance of the activity this winter, along with a comparison to the running of the town's nursery school with a comparable number of children.

A summary of the results of the 2012 standardised tests was presented, a continuation from the autumn.
Further discussion of the findings will take place at a forthcoming seminar on 19 April.

The final of the Great Reading Competition in Hafnarfjörður will be on Tuesday, 19th March at Hafnarborg.
The final festival of the Grand Reading Competition was presented at Hafnarborg on Tuesday, 19th March, and invitation cards for the event were presented to the Education Council.
