• 1106161 – Proposals of the Hafnarfjörður Youth Council.

  Consideration of the recommendations of the Hafnarfjörður Youth Council from the Youth Assembly on 21 March 2012. Jóhanna M. Sigurðardóttir from the Junior Youth Council will attend the meeting.

  The Environment and Operations Committee thanks the representative of the Hafnarfjörður Youth Council for the presentation and refers their direct proposals to the department for processing.

• 1205167 – Walking routes for older people and the placement of benches

  A letter was presented from the Hafnarfjörður Council of Elders, the Association of Senior Citizens of Hafnarfjörður and the Association of Icelandic Physiotherapists, dated 18 September 2012, regarding the project „Let's Use the Bench“.

  The Environment and Operations Committee agrees to provide 10 benches for the project.

• 1110136 – Hellisgerði - Friends' Association

  The proposal from the Hellisgerði Supporters' Association dated 12 August 2012 regarding the future of the Bonsai Garden was presented. Björn B. Hilmarsson attended the meeting and went over the matter.

  The Environment and Operations Committee refers the matter to the Culture and Tourism Committee for a report regarding the future of the Bonsai Garden.

  Project manager Erlendur Árni Hjálmarsson attended the meeting and reviewed the status of the matter. A memorandum was presented.
