    • 0708052 – Treadmill, facilities

      Margrét Gauja Magnúsdóttir appears on behalf of the working group and presents the report.

      The committee thanks Margrét Gauja for the presentation and requests to be kept informed of the matter's progress. The committee welcomes the work being done to improve facilities for skateboarders. The committee emphasises that the environment and design of the final location must be carefully considered.

    • 0710166 – The Green Steps

      A project description was submitted for the „Land in Foster Care“ project.

      The committee expresses its satisfaction with the project and refers it to the town council for the 2008 budget.

    • 0703306 – Stream, outdoor artwork

      Taken up again; the matter was previously on the agenda at the meeting on 24 October 2007.

      The Committee considers that the proposed location of the project is not suitable, within an area on the nature conservation register. Should the installation be permitted, the Committee requests that the implementation and finish are such that the action is fully reversible and that a special project agreement stipulates that the owners of the work bear the cost of removing all traces, remove the work at any point.

      Taken up again; the matter was previously on the agenda at the meeting on 3 October 2007.

      The committee requests that the protection provisions for the areas and the georeferencing of the boundaries be finalised. The committee proposes that the boat shelter at Hvaleyrarlón be excluded from the protection.
