      The Family Council expresses its satisfaction with the proposed action plan and urges that work continue on its basis.


      The representative of the Independence Party records:

      The dropout rate for girls from sports and leisure activities has been constant since 2003 here in Hafnarfjörður, and if anything, it has been increasing since then.Representatives of the Independence Party have repeatedly pointed out this unfortunate development and demanded action. The representative of the Independence Party on the Family Council emphasises that the action plan, which the Family Council requested be drawn up in connection with the work of a task force on the drop-out of girls from sports and leisure activities, contain measures and objectives for success for each individual measure. He also proposes that the working group considers what alternatives to the current system are possible regarding grants for sports and leisure activities, to ensure that as many children as possible aged 6-18 benefit from these grants.It is requested that proposals on this matter be presented to the Family Council at the earliest opportunity.

      Memorandum from the Social Democratic Party representative:

      The collaboration between the City of Hafnarfjörður and those parties running organised sports and youth work is in constant development and review, with the aim of increasing participation and equality. Proposals aimed at this have been, and will continue to be, regularly discussed in the Family Council.;

Slíkt fyrirkomulag hefur ekki verið tekið fyrir og rætt á fundum fjölskylduráðs sem hefur forræði yfir málaflokknum. %0D%0DÓskað er eftir upplýsingum í hvaða viðhaldsaðgerðir farið verður í Suðurbæjarlaug í sumar, áætlaðan verktíma hverrar aðgerðar og kostnað því samfara.       Consideration of a submission from the Blind Association, an email of 27th January, a request for a lump-sum payment of kr. 730,640 due to a operating loss in 2008.

      The Family Council is unable to comply with the request.;
