The Culture and Tourism Committee has requested a report from the Family Council on the draft tourism strategy. The draft was presented at the last meeting of the Family Council.
The Family Council endorses the following opinion of the Sports and Leisure Committee: “The Sports and Leisure Committee endorses the need for increased cooperation in welcoming tourists to the town.$line$ Emphasis is placed on the importance of the sports clubs and sports facilities in this regard. Particular reference is made to the sports and recreation area and the importance of the water in Hafnarfjörður and the splendid swimming venues for all.“
