  The future development of the Hafnarfjörður harbour area was discussed.

  Hafnarstjórn samþykkir að fela framkvæmdanefndinni, sem annaðist frumkönnun á framtíðarhafnarsvæði hafnarinnar, að vinna áfram að málinu í samræmi við ákvarðanir hafnarstjórnar.%0DÍ henni eru Eyjólfur Sæmundsson, formaður, Ingvar Viktorsson og Ólafur Ingi Tómasson.

  Consideration of a letter from the Maritime Administration to the Port of Hafnarfjörður dated 31. January 2008, signed Kristján Helgason and Sigurður Áss Grétarsson, in which ports are encouraged to submit their proposals for projects under the new Transport Plan for the years 2009 to 2012.

  The Harbour Board agrees that a feasibility study of harbour structures west of Straumsvík be included in the 2009 transport plan, in accordance with the preliminary analysis and computer modelling programme from the Maritime Administration, 2007.
