  1. General presentations

    • Budget of the municipal fund and its enterprises 2013-2016.

      A proposal was considered to begin talks with the Faxaflóahafnir ports regarding the potential benefits of merging the Port of Hafnarfjörður with the Faxaflóahafnir ports, or of significantly increasing cooperation between the ports, as approved by the Hafnarfjörður town council at its meeting on 5th. December 2012, to be referred to the Harbour Board for further consideration.

      The matter is deferred to the next meeting to allow the members present an opportunity to consider this proposal.

    • Application for 40M, Óseyrarbraut

      Application from Atlantsolía ehf. for the plot at Óseyrarbraut 40 M, dated 4 December 2012 and signed by Bjarki Kristjánsson, mechanical engineer at the engineering firm Mannvit, on behalf of Atlantsolía.

      The Harbour Board agrees to permit Atlantsolur to use the plot for its firefighting equipment, provided that Atlantsolur pays rent for the area.

    • 0909104 – The History of the Port of Hafnarfjörður

      An overview of the status of the publication of the history of the Port of Hafnarfjörður.

      The Harbour Board agrees that the formal handover of the book will take place on 28 December.

    • 1106231 – Leak at Hvaleyrarbraut 28

      A submission from the plot holder of Hvaleyrarbraut 28 is presented, reiterating the demand for a solution to the problem of leaks onto the plot, dated 12 December 2012, signed Gylfi Matthíasson.

      The Harbour Board reiterates its previous decision of 14th May and instructs the Harbour Master to inform the party concerned.
