General presentations

• 1101257 – Operations Department - Tendering and Contracts 2011

  A summary of tenders and contracts for 2011 was presented.

  Halldór Ingólfsson from the Executive Department attended the meeting and went over a summary of tenders. The Executive Council approved the Executive Department's recommendations.;

• 1009023 – Plants for People, ideas for a GFF and town collaboration in 2011

  Consideration of the submission from Gróður fyrir fólk í landnámi Íslands regarding afforestation in Krýsuvík, dated 31 August 2011. The proposal was referred to the Executive Board at the 167th meeting of the Environment and Local Agenda 21 Committee. A memorandum dated 17 January 2011 regarding afforestation in Krýsuvík was presented.

  The Executive Council welcomes the proposal and instructs the Executive Office to finalise an agreement with GFF for the project.;

• 1011292 – Krýsuvík, disposal of organic waste for land reclamation

  Consideration of a proposal from Sörli regarding afforestation at the Sörli grazing enclosure in Krýsuvík.

  The Executive Council welcomes the proposal and the distribution will be carried out in cooperation with the GFF project in Krýsuvík.;

• 1101005 – Operations Department, Tariff 2011

  Taken up again.

  The Executive Council approves the fee schedule and refers it to the Town Council for final approval.;

• 1012217 – Reykjanesbraut dualling from Kaldárselsvegur to Krýsuvíkurvegur

  A memorandum from the Executive Department dated 27th January was presented regarding the estimated costs for the City of Hafnarfjörður.

  Helga Stefánsdóttir presented a memorandum and went over it.;
