• 0712090 – Quarries, legislation on extraction

  To be taken up again.

  It was agreed to appoint a four-person working group for mine strategy. It was proposed that there be two representatives from the Executive Committee and two from the Planning and Building Committee. The working group will be appointed at the next meeting.;

• 0811120 – Lease of premises on undeveloped plots

  To be taken up again.

  The draft regulations are approved by the Executive Council. The fee schedule section is referred to the Finance Director and the Operations Department. The matter will be taken up again at the next council meeting.;

• 0811024 – Skútahraun 6, plot north-east of the fire station

  A request from Hrauntak ehf, dated 31 October 2008, has been submitted, requesting the use of a plot of land.

  Postponed as the rules have not been finalised.

• 0810256 – Koparhella 1, enquiry about the plot

  A proposal from NV Vegalögn ehf, dated 22 October 2008, requesting the use of Koparhella 1, was presented.

  Postponed as the rules have not been established.;

• 0711109 – Sorli, bridleways

  To be taken up again.

  Resolved to refer to the 2009 budget.

• 0809060 – Hjallabraut 33, use of the top floor

  A report was presented on the use of the building. Guðmundur Jónsson attended the meeting and presented the report.

  The Executive Board does not consider it timely to undertake this project, in view of the feasibility study and the significant financial risk.;

• 0811138 – Lækjargata 2, Dvergur, agreement on the use of the premises.

  The Director of the Property Society reports on the agreements concerning Lækjargata 2.

  The Executive Board proposes that the contracts in the building be harmonised and that they shall not remain in force beyond 31 December 2009. Furthermore, the Executive Department will be tasked with reviewing the building's security arrangements.;

  The Director of the Property Association reviews the status of the case and presents the relevant documents.

  Update on the situation regarding the leak in the roof of Dalshraun 10.

  The Executive Council instructs the Executive Office to finalise an agreement with the landlord to ensure that the roofwork is completed satisfactorily.;

• 0804293 – Master Craftsmen's Association of Hafnarfjörður

  A letter from the Master Craftsmen's Association of Hafnarfjörður was presented.

  The Executive Board reiterates that Hafnarfjörður Municipality adheres to its procurement regulations.;

• 0810128 – Service Centre, Hringhellu premises

  A proposal has been submitted regarding the rental of part of the plot.

  The Executive Council instructs the Executive Office to prepare a proposal for a lease arrangement for the house.;

• 0801403 – Fields 7, new nursery school

  It was proposed to extend the time for the opening of tenders for the nursery.

  The Executive Board agrees to extend the opening of bids until 15 February 2009.;

• Water supply, service charges

  A report was presented.

  The Executive Committee proposes to the Executive Office that the contracts with Garðabær be reviewed in their entirety, i.e. concerning water and sewerage.;
