    • SB040377 – Minutes of the Planning and Building Officer

      The minutes of the planning and building officer's meeting of 16 December 2009 were presented.

      Part A of the minutes is submitted to the town council for approval.;

    • 09103144 – Mobile sausage van

      Wilhelm Albrecht is requesting a site for a hot dog van in the centre of Hafnarfjörður, in accordance with the application dated 27.10.2009. The application was considered at a service meeting of the Planning and Building Officer on 28/10/2009, which referred it to the Planning and Building Committee. The Planning and Building Committee instructed the Planning and Building Department on 17/11/2009 to discuss the application with the applicant.

      The Planning and Building Council instructs the Planning and Building Department to proceed further with the matter.;

    • 0912165 – Hólshraun, mobile food van, enquiry

      On 18 December 2009, Dominigos Tavares Ferreia applied for a licence to place a food van at Hólshraun.

      The Planning and Building Council instructs the Planning and Building Department to proceed with the matter.;

    • 0709106 – Óseyrarbraut, new plot

      A proposal from the Harbour Board for a new plot of land, No. 33 Óseyrarbraut, was discussed. The Harbour Board approved the formalisation of the plot's layout in accordance with the outline drawing by Al-Ark architects, which was presented at meeting 1327. meeting of the harbour board on 23 January 2008. The town council referred the matter on 16 March 2009 to the planning and building committee for discussion and decision. Postponed at the 222nd meeting. A new detailed plan drawing dated 02.04.2009 was presented. On 13.05.2009, the Harbour Board agreed to request an amendment to the master plan, so that the main arterial road of the harbour area, i.e. Óseyrarbrautin will be removed from the master plan in the form shown there, or it will be incorporated into the plan in its current form. The proposal was advertised on 12 November 2009 in accordance with the first paragraph of Article 26 of the Planning and Building Act No. 73/1997. The comment period closed on 28 December 2009, and one comment was received.

      The Planning and Building Committee requests the Harbour Board's comments on the submitted observations.;

    • 0909231 – Master Plan, South Harbour

      The proposal from the Planning and Building Department, dated 1 October 2009, concerning an amendment to the Master Plan of Hafnarfjörður with regard to the South Harbour, was reconsidered. The proposal was published on 12 November 2009 in accordance with Section 18 of the Planning and Building Act No. 73/1997. The deadline for comments was 28 December 2009. One comment was received.

      The Planning and Building Council instructs the Planning and Building Department to prepare draft responses to the submitted comments.;

    • 0912111 – Furuás 8, enquiry.

      Thorsteinn G. Aðalsteinsson, on behalf of Jón Trausti Snorrason, submits an enquiry regarding the matter concerning Furuás 8-10, to be taken up again with reference to the letter dated 10.12.09. The matter was discussed at the planning and building officer's disposal meeting on 16 December 2009, which referred it to the planning and building committee.

      The Planning and Building Council instructs the Planning and Building Department to proceed with the matter.;

    • 0912112 – Furuás 10, enquiry.

      Thorsteinn G. Aðalsteinsson, on behalf of Jón Trausti Snorrason, submits an enquiry regarding the matter concerning Furuás 8-10, to be taken up again with reference to the letter dated 10.12.09. The matter was discussed at the planning and building officer's disposal meeting on 16 December 2009, which referred it to the planning and building committee.

      The Planning and Building Council instructs the Planning and Building Department to proceed with the matter.;

    • 0810265 – Regional Plan for the Capital Region 2001-2024, The Green Triangle, revised definition.

      A letter from the Planning Authority dated 17.12.2009 regarding the handling of the matter was presented.

    • 0905152 – Hvaleyrarbraut 35, illegal occupation.

      Information has been received about an illegal occupation of the house. It has also been reported that the house is still registered at construction stage 1 and that the required inspections have not been carried out, including the certificate of occupancy inspection. On 20 May 2009, the planning and building officer required the owners to provide information on the matter within two weeks. No response was received. On 10 June 2009, the Planning and Building Officer referred the matter to the Planning and Building Committee. On 23 June 2009, the Planning and Building Committee required the owners to provide information on the matter within two weeks. If these were not received within that time, the Planning and Building Committee would make a proposal to the Town Council to impose a fine in accordance with Article 57 of the Planning and Building Act No. 73/1997 until the matter is rectified. The Planning and Building Committee agreed to grant an extension until September. No further clarification was received after that time. Reported from a meeting of the Planning and Building Department with Ivar Erlendsson, a representative of the building's owners, who denied that the premises were occupied but prevented an inspector from entering to verify this. On 20/10/2009, the Planning and Building Committee demanded that a building supervisor be appointed for the property within two weeks and immediately call for a status inspection. The Planning and Building Committee also demanded that the inspector from the Planning and Building Department be granted immediate access to verify whether the house is occupied. If neither of these requests were met within two weeks, the Planning and Building Committee would make a recommendation to the town council to impose daily fines in accordance with Article 57 of the Planning and Building Act No. 73/1997. The request was not responded to. On 08.12.2009, the Town Council approved daily fines, to be applied from 01.01.2010, regarding the matter. A report from the inspector of the Planning and Building Department, dated 22 December 2009, regarding alleged occupation of the house was presented. A letter from the law firm Casa Firma, dated 29 December 2009, was also presented.

    • 0702368 – Hamranes/Vellir Primary, Play and Music School

      Consideration was given to the construction of a new primary school in the Hamranesh district. The Executive Committee referred the matter to a special briefing meeting. In addition, the director of the property association was instructed to present the matter to the Planning and Building Committee and the Environment and Agenda 21 Committee.
