    • SB040377 – Minutes of the Planning and Building Officer

      Minutes of the planning and building officer's disposal meetings of 03.10.12 and 10.10.12 were presented. Item A was disposed of by the building officer in accordance with the Building Regulations Act no. 160/2010.

    • 1106205 – 12-setja gamalt hús á lóð in Hverfisgata

      Sigurður Jónsson, by letter dated 27 June 2011, is applying for the plot at 12 Hverfisgata, for the old house built in 1894. New information was received on 10 October 2012. The application was considered at the planning and building officer's meeting on 10 October 2012, which referred it to the Planning and Building Committee.

      The Planning and Building Committee welcomes the application, as it aligns with Hafnarfjörður's policy for development in the old town and a small house on this site would enhance the streetscape of Hverfisgata. The PBC instructs the department's staff to proceed with the matter. The Planning and Building Committee refers the plot application to the Town Council.

    • 0701032 – Álfholt 6-26, car park

      A resident's request that the car parking spaces on the town's land be reserved for the residents of the houses is considered. The Planning and Building Committee instructed the Planning and Building Department on 26/03/12 to investigate how successful the spaces that have already been reserved for houses no. 6–26 have been.

      The survey responses show differing views among residents. Those with many designated spaces on council land are, as expected, more satisfied than those who have provided parking spaces on their own property, thereby limiting its potential use. As a general practice, designated parking spaces on council land have not been introduced, and it is the council's decision that this should also be the case in Álfholti. Where parking spaces are shown on approved planning drawings, landowners are required to provide the parking spaces in accordance with the drawings. In order to meet residents' needs for more spaces, it is the aim of SBH to increase the number of spaces by 4.$line$$line$The Director of the Department left the meeting during the handling of the matter.

    • 1203005 – Álfholt 30, 32, 34, parking space marking

      A resident's request that parking spaces on the town's land be reserved for the residents of the houses is considered. The results of a survey regarding the marking of parking spaces in the 6-26 ring are presented.

      The Planning and Building Committee refers to the town's policy of not reserving parking spaces on town land. An experiment was carried out with the reservation of spaces in the neighbourhood. The conclusion was that marking parking spaces did not solve the parking problem in the neighbourhood. The Director of the department left the meeting during the processing of the matter.

    • 1209164 – Sörli Riding Club's Event Area, amendment to the DSK

      The Town Council requests that the Planning and Building Committee review the planning and building conditions and the fee schedule for stables plots. The Planning and Building Committee requested that the Planning and Building Department review the layout of the stable yard and propose amendments. This was presented at the last meeting, and the Planning and Building Department was also instructed to discuss the proposal with the management of the Sörli riding club. The Planning and Building Department reported on those discussions at the last meeting.

      The Planning and Building Committee agrees to advertise an amendment to the detailed plan in accordance with section 43 of the Act No. 123/2010.

    • 1210096 – Hellnahraun 2 and 3 roundabouts

      To discuss whether a detailed plan should be drawn up for a roundabout connecting Hellnahraun 2 and 3 to the Krýsuvíkurveg. Informal approval from the Road Administration is in place.

      The Planning and Building Council instructs the Planning and Building Department to commence preparations for a local plan amendment.

    • 1209504 – Arnarhraun 50, use of the plot

      To discuss whether a semi-detached house should be built on the plot in place of a detached house, as provided for by the plot's local plan. Postponed from the last meeting.

      The Planning and Building Committee considers that there is no reason to amend the master and detailed plans for this plot.

    • National planning policy

      The reports „National Planning Policy 2013-2024 Final Version“ and „Environmental Report for National Planning Policy 2013-2024 Final Version“ have been published. They have been advertised and sent for consultation. The deadline for comments is 20 November.

      The Planning and Building Committee concurs with the director's report and makes it its own.

    • 1209223 – Budget for the Department of Planning and Building 2013.

      The 2013 budget for the Department of Planning and Building was discussed.

      Taken into consideration and deferred.
