Part A of building permits

• 1104269 – Blikaás 42, working drawings

  Haukur Gunnarsson submits test drawings for a residential building on 18/04/11. According to drawings by Friðrik Friðriksson dated 26/03/11.

  The Planning and Building Officer approves the application in accordance with Article 11 of the Building Regulations Act no. 160/2010.;

• 1104272 – Blikaás 44, As-built drawings

  Haukur Gunnarsson submits test drawings for a residential building on 18/04/11. According to drawings by Friðrik Friðriksson dated 26/03/11.

  The Planning and Building Officer approves the application in accordance with Article 11 of the Building Regulations No. 160/2010.;

• 10103553 – 33 Hjallabraut, balcony enclosure, building permit

  Permission is applied for on 26/10/10 to install a canopy on the existing residential balconies, in accordance with drawings by Jón Þ. Þorvaldsson, dated 15/10/10. An residents' signature is attached. Corrected drawings were received on 18/04/11.

  The Planning and Building Officer approves the building plans in accordance with Article 11 of the Building Regulations No. 160/2010. A building permit will be issued once the conditions of paragraphs 1-4 of Article 13 of the Building Regulations have been fulfilled.;

• 1011115 – Brattakinn 12, working drawings

  On 08.11.2010, Atli Steinn Jónsson applies for a change of ownership in the basement, a new registration board and a porch for the ground floor door leading out there. Alteration to window, in accordance with drawings by Gísli Gunnarsson dated 01.11.2010. New drawings received on 20.04.2011.

  The Planning and Building Officer approves the application in accordance with Article 11 of the Building Regulations No. 160/2010.;

• 1101213 – Eyrartröð 8, working drawings

  Megas submitted on 14.01.11 test drawings for the $ line, in accordance with the drawings of Jón B. Stefánsson dated 01.06.10. Corrected drawings were received on 14.04.2011.

  The Planning and Building Officer approves the application in accordance with Article 11 of the Building Regulations Act No. 160/2010.;

Part B: Organisational Matters

• 1004254 – Flatahraun 7, plot enlargement and site preparation

  BJB Exhaust Service at Flatahrauni 7 is applying for an extension and a change of use for the plot, in accordance with drawings by Sigurður Þorvarðarson dated April 2011.

  The Planning and Building Officer refers the matter to the Planning and Building Committee.;

• 1104349 – Hraunkambur 9, enquiry

  On 19 April 2011, Birgir Gunnarsson and Guðmundur Tómasson submitted an enquiry to create a bay window on the east side of the house and to install a lightweight glass and metal frame windbreak by the entrance to the upper floor.

  The Planning and Building Officer welcomes the application, see attached comments, and requests full working drawings when the building permit application is submitted.;

• 1008301 – Norðurbakki 23, flat 0105, fire protection.

  The owner of flat no. 0105 notes the missing escape route and requests that the architect and the developer be required to submit proposals for a solution. A report from the Fire Service is available. The building plans were approved by the building control officer on 14 February 2006 and were stamped by the Capital Region Fire Service at that time. On 01.09.10, the Planning and Building Officer instructed the architect and the building contractor to submit proposals for a solution to the matter within four weeks. Proposals were received which the Planning and Building Officer considers resolve the matter, and on 25/01/11 made it mandatory for the contractor, TG Contractors, to apply for planning permission for the alteration and to submit the required documentation in accordance with section 12.2 of the Building Regulations within 2 weeks. If this was not done, the planning and building officer would refer the matter to the planning and building committee with a proposal for a daily fine in accordance with section 56 of the Building Act no. 160/2010. Previously submitted letter from ÞG-verktaka dated 30.01.11. Previously submitted opinion of the legal counsel for the Planning and Building Department. Submitted report from the inspector of the Planning and Building Department.

  The Planning and Building Officer requires the designer and building supervisor to create an escape route from the dwelling's bedroom in accordance with section 158.2 of the Building Regulations. The drawings must be submitted to the building officer within 4 weeks. Failure to do so will result in the building control officer imposing a daily fine on the relevant parties.;

• 1104274 – Stapahraun 2, fire safety of the guesthouse

  Stapahraun 2, guesthouse. During a fire safety inspection on 23.03.11 at the above-mentioned property, it was discovered that the fire safety measures are defective.A warning was issued on 24.3.11. The breach is considered significant and the Capital Region Fire and Rescue Service granted a deadline for the closure of the premises until 13.5.11.

  The Planning and Building Officer requests confirmation from the owner that the remedial works have been completed.;

• 1104183 – Hringbraut 59, building permit

  Kristín Pétursdóttir applies on 13/04/11 to alter the internal layout. To construct a garage where a concrete car park was previously located. Access to the garage from Hringbraut. Drawn by Sigurður Hallgrímsson, dated 08/03/11. Land number 121076. The Planning and Building Committee was positive about the enquiry, provided that the consent of neighbouring landowners is obtained.

  The Planning and Building Officer postpones the application as the applicant's submission must include written consent from the neighbours at 57 Hringbraut and 5 Garðastíg.
