The Planning and Building Officer approves the building plans in accordance with Article 11 of the Building Regulations No. 160/2010. A building permit will be issued once the conditions of paragraphs 1-4 of Article 13 of the Building Regulations have been fulfilled.

11022270 – Flatahraun 5a, internal alteration.
Burger-inn ehf is applying for a licence to convert the existing kiosk and fast-food outlet into a restaurant with a delivery service. The kitchen will be enlarged and a toilet added. There will be no change to the exterior appearance, structural framework or registration. According to the drawing by Óli G.H.Þórðarson dated 08.02.11. A report from the Capital Region Fire and Rescue Service and the Hafnarfjörður and Kópavogur Health Surveillance Authority is available.

Omar Imsland, Grandatrað 5, is applying for a permit as of 1 June 2011 for two 20-foot containers on the premises. Approval from a co-owner of the building is available.
The planning and building officer approves the temporary permit for one year. After that time, the containers will be removed.

1105490 – Hrauntunga 24, footpath
An email has been received from Arnfríður Arnardóttir, dated 25/5/11, pointing out that the footpath at Hrauntunga has been closed with a locked gate. The path is on private land and runs between Hrauntunga 24 and 26. She requests that the path remains accessible for walking, as children use it on their way to school.
It has been revealed that the path is on the town's land and, according to the current local plan, a path is designated at this location. The plot holder is therefore required to remove the closed gate.

1105483 – Lækjargata 10b, dormer
Freyja Árnadóttir, on 26 May 2011, applies to add a gable to the south side of the house, and also to extend the porch by 50 cm to the south, in accordance with drawings by Aðalsteinn V. Júlíusson dated 24 May 2011.
The Planning and Building Officer refers the matter to the State Heritage Board for comment.
