  1. Part A of building permits

    • 1106011 – Álfaskeið 31, test drawing for building v.0202

      Landsbankinn hf submits on 03.06.2011 test drawings for mhl.0202, installing stairs to the balcony in accordance with drawings by Harald Ingvarsson dated 31.05.2011.

      The planning and building officer approves the application in accordance with Article 11 of the Buildings Act No. 160/2010.;

    • 1105247 – Ásvellir 1, change to the stand

      Knattspyrnufélag Hauka, plot number 120001, is applying on 11.05.11 to alter the escape stairs on the south-east side of the stand (rear). Also the earthworks to the stand on the same side, in accordance with the drawings by Helgi Már Halldórsson dated 11.05.11. A stamp from the fire brigade was received on 07.06.2011.

      The Planning and Building Officer approves the building plans in accordance with Article 11 of the Building Regulations No. 160/2010. A building permit will be issued once the conditions of paragraphs 1-4 of Article 13 of the Building Regulations have been fulfilled.;

    Part B: Organisational Matters

    • 1105001 – 17 Hamarsbraut, amended detailed plan

      To consider the query from Andri Gunnarsson and Heiðbjört Vigfúsdóttir dated, requesting that the plots at Hamarsbraut 16 and 17 be combined.

      The Planning and Building Officer refers the matter to the Planning and Building Committee.;

    • 1105320 – Ásvellir, access to the Haukahús.

      The safety of pedestrians at the Haukar sports complex was discussed. The matter was referred to the Planning and Building Committee at a meeting of the Transport Working Group on 17th May. Discussions with representatives of Haukar have been reported. The Planning and Building Committee referred the matter to the Planning and Building Department for processing, but raised an objection to the closure of the footpath shown as accessible via a gate on the approved building plans.

      The Planning and Building Officer requires the plot holder, Haukar, to open the aforementioned footpath within two weeks, in accordance with paragraph 1 of Article 56 of the Building Regulations No. 160/2010.;

    • 1005276 – Burknavellir 1a,b,c. Final assessment.

      Ingvar Geirsson applied for a final inspection on 25/03/10 at Burknavöllar 1 a,b,c. The final inspection took place on 15/06/2010 and concluded as a status inspection. The final inspection is incomplete.

      The Planning and Building Officer has scheduled a final inspection for 23.06.11 at 09:00 in accordance with Article 36 of the Building Regulations Act No. 160/2010. The building supervisor is required to take the measures stipulated by the Act. See attached comments.

    • 1012175 – Eskivellir 5, final inspection incomplete

      The Planning and Building Officer called for a final inspection of the house on 15.2.11 in accordance with Article 36 of the Building Regulations No. 160/2010 and required the building surveyor to take the measures stipulated by the regulations.An extension was granted until 1 May 2011. The final inspection is incomplete.

      The Planning and Building Officer has scheduled a final inspection for 23.06.11 at 09:30, in accordance with Article 36 of the Building Regulations No. 160/2010. The building supervisor is required to take the measures stipulated by the regulations. See attached comments.

    • 1012178 – Church Road 9, final inspection incomplete, Storage.

      The final inspection of the warehouse at Kirkjuvogur 9 is incomplete.

      The Planning and Building Officer has scheduled a final inspection for 23.06.11 at 10:00, in accordance with Article 36 of the Building Regulations No. 160/2010. The building supervisor is required to take the measures stipulated by the regulations. See attached comments.

    • SB050091 – Kirkjuvellir 5

      The Planning and Building Officer called for a final inspection of the house on 15 February 2011 in accordance with Article 36 of the Building Regulations Act no. 160/2010 and required the building supervisor to take the measures stipulated by the law. The final inspection for Kirkjuvellir 5 is incomplete.

      The Planning and Building Officer has scheduled a final inspection for 23.06.11 at 10:30, in accordance with Article 36 of the Building Regulations No. 160/2010. The building supervisor is required to take the measures stipulated by the regulations. See attached comments.

    • 1012223 – Akurvellir 1. Final inspection incomplete.

      On 22/12/10, the planning and building officer required the building supervisor to complete the final inspection within 4 weeks. Failure to respond would result in the planning and building officer referring the matter to the planning and building committee with a proposal for a fine in accordance with section 57 of the Planning and Building Act No. 73/1997.Deadline extended to 1 April 2011.

      The Planning and Building Officer has scheduled a final inspection for 23.06.11 at 11:00, in accordance with Article 36 of the Building Regulations Act no. 160/2010. The building supervisor is required to take the measures stipulated by the Act. See attached comments.

    • 1012224 – Blómvellir 4. Final inspection incomplete.

      On 22/12/10, the planning and building officer required the building supervisor to apply for a final inspection within three weeks, in accordance with section 53.1 of the building regulations. Failure to do so would result in the planning and building officer referring the matter to the planning and building committee with a proposal for a daily fine, in accordance with section 57 of the Planning and Building Act No. 73/1997. The final inspection for Blómvellir 4 is incomplete. The Town Planner and Building Control Officer scheduled a final inspection for 09.03.11 in accordance with Article 36 of the Building Regulations No. 160/2010. The building supervisor is required to take the measures stipulated by law. The final inspection is incomplete.$line$

    • 0712139 – Gjótuhraun 7, final inspection

      The final inspection of Gjótuhrauni 7, which began in 2007, is unfinished despite a reminder on 22 December 2010. The planning and building officer $line$ called for a final inspection on the date. 02.03.2011 in accordance with Article 36 of the Building Regulations No. 160/2010. A progress inspection was carried out on 02.03.11. The final inspection is incomplete. $line$

    • 1011236 – Moehela 4A-E, construction stage and use.

      The Planning and Building Officer required the building supervisor to complete the final inspection within 4 weeks. Failure to do so will result in the Planning and Building Officer referring the matter to the Planning and Building Committee with a recommendation for a daily fine in accordance with section 57 of the Planning and Building Act No. 73/1997.

      The Planning and Building Officer has scheduled a final inspection for 23.06.11 at 14:30 in accordance with Article 36 of the Building Regulations Act no. 160/2010. The building supervisor is required to take the measures stipulated by the Act. See attached comments.

    • 0812001 – Álfhella 17, final inspection

      On 24.11.10, the planning and building officer required the building supervisor to complete the final inspection within three weeks, in accordance with section 53.1 of the building regulations. If this is not complied with, the Planning and Building Officer will refer the matter to the Planning and Building Committee with a recommendation for a daily fine in accordance with section 57 of the Planning and Building Act No. 73/1997.

      The Planning and Building Officer has scheduled a final inspection for 15:30 on 23/06/11, in accordance with Article 36 of the Building Regulations Act no. 160/2010. The building supervisor is required to take the necessary measures as stipulated by the regulations. See attached comments.

    • 1012229 – Eskivellir 7. Final inspection incomplete.

      On 22 December 2010 the planning and building officer required the building supervisor to complete the final inspection within four weeks. A progress inspection was carried out on 27 January 2011. The final inspection is incomplete.

      The Planning and Building Officer has scheduled a final inspection for 23.06.11 at 15:00 in accordance with Article 36 of the Building Regulations Act no. 160/2010. The building supervisor is required to take the measures stipulated by the Act. See attached comments.

    • 1011335 – Tjarnarvellir 11, stage of construction and use

      On 22/12/10, the planning and building officer required the building supervisor to complete the final inspection within 4 weeks. Failure to comply will result in the Planning and Building Officer referring the matter to the Planning and Building Committee with a recommendation for a daily fine in accordance with section 57 of the Planning and Building Act No. 73/1997.A deadline was set for 15.02.11.       The Planning and Building Officer has scheduled a final inspection for 23.06.11 at 16:30, in accordance with Article 36 of the Building Regulations No. 160/2010. The building supervisor is required to take the measures stipulated by the regulations. See attached comments.

    • 1101040 – Burknavellir 5. Final inspection incomplete.

      On 05/01/11, the planning and building officer required the building supervisor to complete the final inspection within 4 weeks. If this is not complied with, the planning and building officer will refer the matter to the planning and building committee with a recommendation for a daily fine in accordance with section 57 of the Planning and Building Act No. 73/1997. A deadline was granted until 01/04/11.

      The Planning and Building Officer has scheduled a final inspection for 23.06.11 at 16:00 in accordance with Article 36 of the Building Regulations Act No. 160/2010. The building supervisor is required to take the measures stipulated by the Act. See attached comments.

    • 11032766 – Hvaleyrarbraut 20. Site tidiness.

      A complaint has been made regarding the state of the grounds at 20 Hvaleyrarbraut. On 20/03/11, the Planning and Building Officer instructed the company's owners to bring the site into an acceptable condition within 4 weeks. This request has not been complied with.

      If the request is not responded to within two weeks, the planning and building officer will impose a daily fine on the landowner in accordance with section 68.6 of the Building Regulations No. 441/1998 and Article 2 of Section 56 of the Building Act No. 160/2010.

  • 1105481 – Hvaleyrarbraut 20 car parts shop, fire

    The Planning and Building Officer requests information from the owners of the plot, Hvaleyrarbraut 20 ehf, about the company Bílapartar, which operates on the plot. The use is not in accordance with the approved use of the plot, as well as being inconsistent with the Hafnarfjörður Master Plan 2005–2025.;

  • 0906048 – Skipalón 23, site finishing

    The letter from Páll Jónsson on behalf of the residents' association at Skipalón 27, in which he complains about the state of the site, is reconsidered. A daily fine was imposed on the landowner, Frjálsi fjárfestingabankinn, on 13 August 2009, after which some improvements were made to the site. The fence around the area has now collapsed, and the site contains an exposed construction crane, damaged containers and other items. The Planning and Building Officer required the landowners to bring the site into a satisfactory condition within four weeks. Nothing has been done in the matter.

    The Planning and Building Officer reiterates the instruction to the landowner to bring the site into an acceptable condition in accordance with section 68.6 of the Planning Regulations No. 441/1998. Failure to comply within two weeks will result in the Planning and Building Officer imposing a daily fine on the landowner in accordance with the 2nd paragraph of Article 56 of the Building Regulations Act No. 160/2010.;
