  1. Part A of building permits

    • 1108331 – Straumsvík, extension to building 12.

      Alcan in Iceland, registration no. 680466-0179, on 31 August 2011 applies for a permit for an extension to building part 12. Covered ramp, ramp 1 between the concrete shed and kiln shed 1. Concrete floor and load-bearing structure, covering of steel and aluminium in accordance with drawings by Sigbjörn Kjartansson.

      The Planning and Building Officer approves the building plans in accordance with Article 11 of the Building Regulations No. 160/2010. A building permit will be issued once the conditions of paragraphs 1-4 of Article 13 of the Building Regulations have been fulfilled.

    • 1109039 – Glitvangur 31. Renewal of building permit

      On 05.09.2011, Hanna Lára Helgadóttir and Jónas Reynisson applied to renew a building permit for an extension of the plot by 128 m² and to build a detached sauna house integrated into the land.

      The Planning and Building Officer approves the building plans in accordance with Article 11 of the Building Regulations No. 160/2010. A building permit will be issued once the conditions of paragraphs 1-4 of Article 13 of the Building Regulations have been fulfilled.

    • 1109065 – Flatahraun 3, Alteration

      The trade union Hlíf submits drawings for alterations to the second floor on 06.09.11, in accordance with drawings by Birki Hallbjörnsson dated 22.08.11.

      The Planning and Building Officer approves the application in accordance with Article 11 of the Buildings Act no. 160/2010.

    • 1108197 – Selhella 11, alteration.

      On 18 August 2011, 11-13 ehf applied for alterations to the internal structures, doors and ramp on the south side, in accordance with drawings by Gunnar Rósinkranz dated 29 July 2011. New drawings were received on 31 August 2011, bearing the stamps.

      The Planning and Building Officer approves the building plans in accordance with Article 11 of the Building Regulations No. 160/2010. A building permit will be issued once the conditions of paragraphs 1-4 of Article 13 of the Building Regulations have been fulfilled.

    Part B: Organisational Matters

    • 1109035 – 43 Austurgata. Building stage and use.

      43 Austurgata is listed on the BST 4 (fokhelt), despite the house appearing to be fully built and in use.

      The Planning and Building Officer has scheduled a final inspection for 05/10/11, in accordance with Article 36 of the Building Regulations Act No. 160/2010. The building supervisor is required to take the necessary steps as stipulated by the Act.

    • 1109069 – Vallabarð 14, zoning plan amendment

      An application was submitted on 06.09.11 for a change to the detailed plan for Vallabarður 14. A building envelope for an entrance and fence on the plot boundary.

      The Planning and Building Officer refers the matter to a local consultation in accordance with section 2 of article 43 of the Planning Act No. 123/2010.

    • 10071033 – Vörðustígur 5, lamppost and path

      Elsa Heiðdal Hjörleifsdóttir and Hjálmar Loftsson request in a letter dated 21 August 2011 that the path through the plot be designated as public land and planned accordingly.

      The Planning and Building Officer refers the plot alteration to the Town Council for comment.

    • 1103350 – Dalshraun 8, working drawings.

      Ragnar Björnsson ehf submitted test drawings of Dalshraun on 8 March 2011, based on drawings by Jón Hlöðversson dated 16 March 2011. New drawings were received on 1 September 2011.

      The Planning and Building Officer has deferred the matter. Please see the attached comments. The issue of parking has been referred to the Environment and Operations Department for comment.

    • 1108060 – Hnoðravellir 31, study.

      On 9 August 2011, Gosi Carpentry applied to erect a workshop, in accordance with drawings by Erlendur Árni Hjálmarsson dated 8 August 2011.

      The Planning and Building Officer is deferring the matter. Please see the attached comments.

    • 1108303 – Laufvangur 2, enquiry

      Guðni Kristjánsson submits an enquiry on 29/08/2011, requesting a balcony enclosure for flat 0101. See attached documents.

      The Planning and Building Officer is postponing the matter, as approval from the residents' association/fellow owner in the building is required. Please also see the attached comments.
