  1. Part A of building permits

    • 1112052 – Sörlaskeið 13a, renewal of building permit

      The Riding Club Sörli is applying for the renewal of a building permit from 16.12.09, case number 0910026. Sigurður Gunnar Markússon, building supervisor, is insured with Vörður from 09.12.11 to 08.12.12.

      The Planning and Building Officer approves the application in accordance with Article 11 of the Buildings Act no. 160/2010.

    • 1111347 – Einiberg 17, amendment to the building permit

      On 28.11.11, Páll Sveinbjörnsson applied to change a door in the garage into a double door, in accordance with drawings by Sveinn Ívarsson dated.15.10.08 amended 18.11.11. The Planning and Building Officer requested the approval of the Capital Region Fire and Rescue Service on 30.11.2011. The report from the Capital Region Fire and Rescue Service was received on 12.12.2011.

      The Planning and Building Officer approves the application in accordance with Article 11 of the Buildings Act no. 160/2010.

    Part B: Organisational Matters

    • 1112114 – New Year's Bonfire and Thirteenth of January Celebrations, Partnership Agreement 2011-12

      The football club Haukar is applying for a permit for a New Year's bonfire on a vacant plot at Tjarnarvellir 7, Hafnarfjörður, in the same place as in previous years.

      The Planning and Building Officer agrees to grant the requested permission, subject to the approval of the Capital Area Fire and Rescue Service.

    • 1110290 – Kaldárselsvegur, turning riding path.

      Haraldur Guðfinnsson, Chairman of Sörli's Riding Route Committee, requests that the riding routes in the uplands be reviewed in accordance with the attached map.

      The Planning and Building Officer refers the matter to the Planning and Building Committee.

    • 1111340 – Ásvellir, signage at the Haukar sports hall, Schenker.

      A letter from Magnús Gunnarsson on behalf of Knattspurnufélagið Haukar, dated 09.12.11, is submitted, formally requesting that the Municipality of Hafnarfjörður grant permission for signs in the club's area, which have already been erected at the Haukar sports centre.

      The Planning and Building Officer refers the matter to the Planning and Building Committee.

    • 1108120 – Hnoðravellir 56-58. Site management.

      There have been repeated complaints from neighbours about poor upkeep of the grounds.

      The Planning and Building Officer reiterates his instructions. If this request is not addressed within 5 weeks, the Planning and Building Officer will impose a daily fine on the landowner in accordance with section 56 of the Building Regulations Act no. 160/2010.

    • 1105039 – Thrastarlás 44, final inspection

      A final inspection was carried out on 05.05.11. Observations were made. An extension was granted until 15.09.11.

      The Planning and Building Officer has scheduled a final inspection for 18/01/12, in accordance with Article 36 of the Building Regulations Act No. 160/2010. The building supervisor is required to take the necessary steps as stipulated by the regulations.
