      On 23 August 2012, Miroslav Bartlewski applied for a permit for marked parking spaces at two locations. Attached is a drawing showing the location of the spaces, along with supporting documents from the estate agency Ás regarding the property.

      The Planning and Building Officer refers the matter to the Department of Environment and Operations for comment.

      Consideration of the application from Haghúsa ehf dated 21.08.12 for a change to the site's detailed plan.

      The Planning and Building Officer refers the matter to the Planning and Building Committee.

    • 1208420 – 52b Hverfisgata, enquiry

      On 24 August 2012, Óli Örn Eiríksson submitted an enquiry to alter a garage, modify dormers and build a garden shed. A more detailed description is provided on the enquiry form.

      The Planning and Building Officer requests a report from the Buildings Preservation Panel.

    • 1208453 – Helluhraun 16-18, enquiry

      Gestur Ólafsson, architect, submits an enquiry on behalf of Eikar Property Company on 21 August 2012 regarding a proposal for the layout of the site at Helluhraun 16-18, together with a explanatory note and drawings dated 16 August 2012.

      The Planning and Building Officer refers the matter to the Department of Environment and Operations for comment.

    • 1105490 – Hrauntunga 24, footpath

      At a service meeting on 1 June 2011, the plot holder was instructed to remove a closed gate on the footpath. It has since emerged that the gate is still in place at the said location, thereby blocking the children's walking route to school. The site plan provides for development on this site.

      The Planning and Building Officer reiterates the previous notice and advises the plot holder to remove the gate without delay. If the gate is not removed within 3 weeks, the Planning and Building Officer will impose daily penalties on the owners in accordance with Section 56 of the Buildings Act No. 160/2012.

    Part A of building permits

    • 1206174 – Skútahraun 2, Antenna mast

      Fjarskipti ehf applied on 13.06.12 to erect an antenna mast and cable ladder at Skútahraun 2, in accordance with drawings by Gautur Þorsteinsson dated 07.06.12. Consent from the owners of Skútahraun 2 and 2a was received on 29.08.12.

      The Planning and Building Officer approves the application in accordance with the Act on Buildings No. 160/2010.

    • 1208475 – Tjarnarbraut 25, building permit

      On 28.08.12, Magnus I Einarsson applies for permission for a new staircase, an alteration to the internal layout and an alteration to the appearance of the east and west sides of the house, in accordance with drawings by Arnar Þór Jónsson dated 21.08.12. Neighbours' signatures are attached.

      The Planning and Building Officer approves the application in accordance with the Act on Buildings No. 160/2010.
