SB020105 – North Bank
To discuss the detailed plan for the North Bank, the undeveloped plot, and the area's connection to the centre of Hafnarfjörður.
;The Planning and Building Council considers it important that consideration be given to the finishing of the coastal path along the North Shore when preparing the budget for the year 2012/2013. The connection between the North Quay and the city centre area needs to be strengthened beyond its current form, and consideration should be given to implementing a footbridge over the so-called R2 plot in the city centre plan. At the same time, the continuation of the footpath and pedestrian traffic across the car park and onto Fjarðargata must be considered. The Department of Planning and Construction is to be tasked with proposing an implementation for the walking routes. />
It is then the task of the stage to investigate whether it is possible to add to the public spaces in the current planning at the North Shore.

0903062 – Hraunvallar School, nursery school extension
To discuss the Education Committee's resolution from 14.03.11: The Education Committee agrees that the portable classrooms, currently located at Hjallabraut, will be moved to the nursery school site at Hraunvallaraskóli and used as an extension to the Hraunvallaraskóli nursery school from the next school year onwards. Furthermore, the previous resolution to move the buildings to the site of the nursery school at Bjarkavelli shall be rescinded. The Education Committee requests that the Operations Department commence the necessary preparations for the relocation of the buildings, and that the Planning and Building Department work on the relevant detailed planning application. A cost estimate from the Operations Department for the relocation of the buildings to Hraunvallaskóli was presented.
The Head of Department presented proposals. The Planning and Building Committee instructs the department to continue working on the proposals and to present them at the next meeting of the Committee, to be developed in further consultation with the school authorities.
Representatives of the Independence Party point out that space on the school grounds is very limited and improvements to the play areas at the school have already been requested. It would therefore have been most appropriate to obtain a formal response from the Hraunvallaskóli school community before work on the detailed plan and preparation for the works begins. The Independence Party's proposal in the education committee is recalled, that an investigation be made into what options are available regarding the use of school buildings in the town in general to meet the growing need for housing in certain neighbourhoods. Furthermore, it is unclear whether the planned works will be of long-term use.;
