• SB040377 – Minutes of the Planning and Building Officer

  Minutes of the planning and building officer's disposal meetings of 27.04.11 and 04.05.11 were presented. Item A was dealt with by the building officer in accordance with the Building Act No. 160/2010.

  Submitted.;

• 0708068 – Fornubúðir 1A (Óseyrarbraut 1b)

  The plot at Óseyrarbraut 1b was considered. At its meeting on 22/12/10, the Harbour Board recommended to the Planning and Building Committee that the plot at Óseyrarbraut 1b be subdivided and merged with the plots at Óseyrarbraut 1 and Hvaleyrarbraut 2, in accordance with proposal 2; see proposals in the case file. The Planning and Building Committee authorised on 18 January 2011 that the application be subject to local consultation in accordance with section 2 of Article 43 of the Act no. 123/2010. The local consultation has been completed, and comments have been received. The application was considered at the disposal meeting of the Planning and Building Officer on 13 April 2011, which referred it to the Planning and Building Committee.

  The Planning and Building Committee instructs the Planning and Building Department to discuss the matter with the parties involved. Deferred.;

• 1101167 – Hellubraut 7, building matters

  In a letter dated 10 January 2010, Gunnar Hjaltalín requested that the Planning and Building Department permit the construction of a two-storey house on plot no. 5 at Hellubraut, in accordance with the conditions and within the plot boundaries specified by the planning scheme. The planning and building officer objected to the construction of a two-storey house as it did not comply with the area's planning scheme. The Planning and Building Committee requested further information; explanations have been received. However, to permit the demolition or relocation of a house on plot no. 7 at Hellubraut. The Planning and Building Committee requested a report from the National Heritage Protection Authority. A negative report has been received, dated 09.03.11.

  The Planning and Building Committee instructs the Planning and Building Department to prepare a report on the application insofar as it relates to plot no. 5.The Planning and Building Committee cannot assess whether the application concerning plot no. 7 is in accordance with the current planning scheme unless detailed information is provided on the proposed design of the building intended to replace it.;

• 1104091 – AÍH, sports complex

  The report from the Hafnarfjörður Motor Sports Club, dated 2011, regarding facilities for driving practice is considered again. Representatives of the Motor Sports Club attend the meeting.

• 1104346 – 55 Hjallabraut, amendment to the local plan

  To reconsider the application from the Hjalli School, which seeks to amend the local plan for the plot at 55 Hjallabraut to create a building envelope for classrooms.

  The Planning and Building Committee welcomes the proposal, but requests a more detailed plan for traffic and access, to be developed in consultation with the Planning and Building Department and the Operations Department.;

• 0912139 – Reykjanesbraut, junction with Straumsvík

  Consideration of Arki's proposal for the detailed plan of the junction, dated 04.04.2011.

  The Planning and Building Committee agrees that the proposal will be sent for public consultation in accordance with Article 41 of the Planning Act No. 123/2010. The Planning and Building Committee makes the following recommendation to the City Council: “The City Council of Hafnarfjörður approves that the proposal for a detailed plan of the junction of the Reykjanesbraut and Straumsvík, dated. 04.04.2011 be submitted for public consultation in accordance with Article 41 of the Planning and Building Act No. 123/2010.“;

• SB040347 – Environment Committee/Agenda 21

  The minutes of the Environment Committee/Local Agenda 21 meeting of 04.05.11 were presented.

• 1008329 – Employment Agency, Task Force

  To reconsider a matter from the Town Council meeting on 14 April 2011, where it was agreed to refer the proposal from the Task Force on Employment, marked C2, to the Planning and Building Committee for its opinion. The Director's proposal for the opinion is presented.

  The Planning and Building Committee concurs with the director's report.;

• 1004051 – Master Plan of Grindavíkurbær 2010-2030

  The proposal from Ingvar Þór Gunnlaugsson, Head of the Technical Department of Grindavíkurbær, dated 29.03.11, is again considered, requesting the opinion of Hafnarfjarðarbær on the proposal for the Grindavík 2010–2030 Master Plan. The Director's proposed statement on the review was presented.

  The Planning and Building Committee concurs with the director's report.;

• 1003470 – Bus, driving within the city

  Proposals from the Ministry of Transport's working group on a basic network of public transport and cycle paths were presented for discussion.

  Discussion of the working group's proposal for the review of the structure.
