• SB040377 – Minutes of the Planning and Building Officer

  Minutes of the planning and building officer's disposal meetings of 19.09.12 and 26.09.12 were presented. Item A was disposed of by the building officer in accordance with the Building Regulations Act No. 160/2010.

• 1208420 – 52b Hverfisgata, enquiry

  On 24.08.12, Óli Örn Eiríksson submitted an application to convert a garage, alter dormers and build a garden shed. A more detailed description is provided on the application form. The enquiry was referred to the Buildings Preservation Committee, and its report dated 11 September is available. The matter was considered at a meeting of the Director of Planning and Building on 19 September 2012, who referred it to the Planning and Building Committee.

  Sigríður Björk Jónsdóttir leaves the meeting upon the disposal of this matter. The Planning and Building Committee welcomes the inquiry.

• 0701032 – Álfholt 6-26, car park

  A resident's request that the car parking spaces on the town's land be reserved for the residents of the houses is considered. The Planning and Building Committee instructed the Planning and Building Department on 26/03/12 to investigate how successful the spaces that have already been reserved for houses no. 6–26 have been.

  The Planning and Building Committee instructs the Planning and Building Department to process the findings and present them at the next meeting.

• 1203005 – Álfholt 30, 32, 34, parking space marking

  A resident's request that parking spaces on the town's land be reserved for the residents of the houses is considered. The results of a survey regarding the marking of parking spaces in the 6-26 ring are presented.

  The Planning and Building Council instructs the Planning and Building Department to assess this matter in light of the results from the $line$survey regarding the signposting of car parks in the roundabout at no. 6-26.

• 1202073 – Strategic planning of the Culture and Tourism Committee in tourism.

  The proposal for the strategy was reconsidered, along with a letter from the cultural and tourism officer on behalf of the committee requesting a review of the strategy. The Cultural and Tourism Committee requests reviews from committees and boards as soon as possible. The Town Council instructed the Town Manager to prepare a draft report by 1 October. A proposal for the report from the Planning and Building Department was presented.

  The Planning and Building Committee endorses the department's report with the amendments made.

• 1209504 – Arnarhraun 50, use of the plot

  To discuss whether a semi-detached house should be built on the plot in place of a detached house, as provided for by the plot's local plan.

  Postponed.

• 1209164 – Sörli Riding Club's Event Area, amendment to the DSK

  The Town Council requests that the Planning and Building Committee review the planning and building conditions and the fee schedule for stables plots. The Planning and Building Committee requested that the Planning and Building Department review the layout of the stable yard and propose changes. This was presented at the last meeting, and the Planning and Building Department was also instructed to discuss the proposal with the management of the Sörli riding club. The Planning and Building Department reports on those discussions.

  The Planning and Building Committee instructs the Planning and Building Department to finalise the definitive proposal for the zoning plan amendment for the next meeting.

• 1006284 – Master Plan of Hafnarfjörður: comprehensive revision.

  The Director presents a potential series of new housing developments, their size, timing and impact on the school system.

  The ideas of the working group were presented.

• SB060858 – Fields, Phase 7, detailed planning work.

  The continuation of the planning work was discussed.

  The Planning and Building Council instructs the Planning and Building Department to continue its work.

• 1201057 – Construction stage, valuation stage and property registration.

  The Planning and Building Department reports on discussions with representatives of the National Land Registry and various matters that were raised at the autumn meeting of building officers.

  The Director of Stage reported on discussions with representatives from the National Register.

• National planning policy

  The reports „National Planning Policy 2013-2024 Final Version“ and „Environmental Report for the National Planning Policy 2013-2024 Final Version“ have been submitted. The reports have been published and sent for consultation. The deadline for comments is 20 November.   The Planning and Building Council instructs the Director of the Department to prepare a report.

• 0702005 – Master Plan of Hafnarfjörður, power lines and substations.

  The status of the general plan amendment concerning the Hamranes and Suðurnes lines was discussed. The amendment was based on an agreement between Hafnarfjörður and Landsnet from 2008. The amendment to the master plan was approved by the town council in October 2010, but the Ministry of the Environment was then asked to postpone its decision as it was unclear whether Landsnet's works would proceed as the agreement provided. The Planning and Building Committee considered on 21/06/11 that the agreements with Landsnet, particularly regarding the line's route, needed to be comprehensively reviewed before a decision could be made on Landsnet's request for further works. The Director previously reported on the discussions held on 18.06.12 with representatives of Landsnet. Previously submitted were revised draft terms of reference, which were then presented to the representatives of Landsnet, and the response from the CEO of Landsnet to that, which is an email dated. 20.06.12 and a memorandum dated 19.06.12. Previously submitted was an email from Íris Bjargmundsdóttir of the Ministry of the Environment, dated. 08.08.12, in which the City of Hafnarfjörður is asked to take a final position on whether to confirm the plan or withdraw it. The lawyer for the Planning and Building Department presents a proposal for an addendum to the agreement.
