    • 1004383 – Harbour City, vision

For some time, work has been underway to formulate a strategy and vision for Hafnarborg. At all times, it is important to have such a strategy in place, as it serves as a guiding principle for the activities of the arts and cultural centre and is also a tool for managers in their annual action planning. $line$The strategy development process consists of three key steps;$line$- situation analysis$line$- strategy formulation and development$line$- an action plan that implements the strategic priorities. For Hafnarborg, the analysis involved, among other things, a large stakeholder meeting where they considered the situation and opportunities. Following this, a description was developed of the role, vision, values, strategic priorities and key success factors for Hafnarborg. This work was presented at a meeting with the board and artistic council of Hafnarborg in late winter.Following that meeting, work began to translate the strategy's priorities into proposals for actions designed to move Hafnarborg towards the vision and position that have been established. The ideas and proposals have been drawn up, but they still need to be worked into the aforementioned plan of action for the coming winter and the years ahead. This work is expected to be completed by the end of September. $line$
