  The agenda for the Versin Peer Support spring term 2011 was presented, and the activities, which are a collaboration between ÍTH and the Social Services, were discussed.

• 1011080 – Hafnarfjörður Sports Festival 2010 - review and settlement

  A discussion was held regarding the sports and awards ceremony, which was held on Wednesday, 29th December, in the sports hall by Strandgata, attended by a large crowd. All those who became Icelandic, Cup and Nordic champions with sports clubs from Hafnarfjörður were honoured. In addition, the Sportsperson of the Year 2010 for Hafnarfjörður and the Sports Team of the Year 2010 were also named.

  The Sports and Leisure Committee congratulates all of Hafnarfjörður's athletes of the year 2010 on their excellent achievements.

• Attendance figures for swimming pools 2010

  A summary from the sports representative on attendance figures at the town's swimming pools in 2010 was presented for information. Total attendance at the swimming pools in Hafnarfjörður in 2010 was 526,874, an increase of approximately 91% on the previous year.

• 1101166 – Haukar Basketball Department, request for funding

  A proposal from the Haukar Basketball Department, dated 19 December 2010, has been submitted, requesting a grant for the Actavismóti for 6-12 year olds, which was held on 8-9 January.

  The Sports and Leisure Committee agrees to sponsor the event with kr. 50,000, along with free swimming for the participants.
