• 1211159 – Christmas opening of leisure centres

  An introduction to the draft plan for the Christmas workshop, which will be held in the Setbergsskóli sports hall from 21st December to 3rd January. Opening hours are from 8:00 to 17:00.

  The Sports and Leisure Committee approves the draft for the Christmas workshop.

• 1211160 – ÍTH course, student association in Hafnarfjörður.

  Course presentation for Year 10 representatives on the primary school pupil council in Hafnarfjörður. The course will be held at Setrinu, Setbergsskóli, on Friday, 23 November.

• Skateboard park

  A proposal from students in the senior school of Öldutúnsskóli regarding a skateboarding facility has been submitted.

  The Chair of the Sports and Leisure Committee and the Acting Manager of Youth and Leisure Services were tasked with speaking to the person concerned.

• Alcohol advertising in sports venues

  A statement from the parents' association regarding alcohol advertising at sports grounds.

  The Sports and Leisure Committee urges sports clubs in Hafnarfjörður to comply with the laws and regulations in force regarding alcohol advertising on sports grounds and in sports facilities.

• 1211147 – Hafnarfjörður Motor Sports Club

  A letter from a board member of the Hafnarfjörður Motor Sports Association was presented, regarding young people riding unregistered motorbikes on the town's streets.

  The Sports and Leisure Committee instructs the manager of Musik og Mótors to contact the Hafnarfjörður Motor Sports Club regarding a collaboration between them.

• 1011080 – Hafnarfjörður Sports Festival 2012

  Draft agenda for the Hafnarfjörður Sports Festival, to be held in the Strandgata Sports Hall on Friday 28 December.

  It was agreed to appoint a preparatory committee to organise the programme for the Sports Festival on 28th December, review information from sports clubs for recognition purposes, and finalise proposals for the next meeting. The committee will be composed of the Chairman and Executive Director of ÍBH, the Chairman of ÍTH, and the Sports Officer.

• Chairmen's meeting of the Hafnarfjörður Sports Association

  A resolution was presented from the chairmen's meeting of the Hafnarfjörður Sports Association.

  The Executive Director of the IBH reviewed the resolution of the IBH chairmen's meeting. The Sports and Leisure Committee urges the municipal authorities to enter into discussions with the sports movement regarding the resolution of the IBH chairmen's meeting.

• 1211146 – Survey on satisfaction in sports.

  A survey from Rannsókn og greining was presented, conducted among young people who take part in sports within the Íþróttasamband Íslands and Ungmennafélag Íslands in the ÍBH sports region, regarding satisfaction with sports.

  The Director of ÍBH went over a survey from Rannsókn og greining. The Minister for Sports and Leisure welcomes the positive results from the Rannsókn og greining survey.

  Minutes of the 13th meeting of the IBH Board for the 2011-2012 term of office, held on 5 November 2012, are presented for information.

  The IBA representative went over the minutes.

• Youth Council - Minutes

  Minutes of the Hafnarfjörður Youth Council were presented: the 38th meeting, held on Wednesday, 31 October 2012, and the 39th meeting, held on Wednesday, 14 November 2012.

  The observer from the Youth Council reviewed the minutes.
