The services of Bergið Headspace for young people in Hafnarfjörður will be increased. They will be available two days a week instead of one previously. This was secured in a partnership agreement between the town and Bergið Headspace today.

Fanney D. Halldórsdóttir, Director of the Education and Public Health Department of Hafnarfjörður Municipality, and Eva Rós Ólafsdóttir, a specialist at Bergið Headspace, signed a new partnership agreement at the Hafnarfjörður Town Hall recently.

Young people aged 12-25 can access individualised advice and services free of charge at Bergið Headspace. This is a low-threshold service with a focus on support, education and advice, and the service is open to everyone.

The collaboration between Bergið and Hafnarfjörður has steadily increased since it began in 2021. More and more young people are using the resource.
