Change to the detailed plan for Miðbær Hraun West in Hafnarfjörður – Hverfisgata 22

The Planning and Building Committee of Hafnarfjörður approved at its meeting on 09.03. 2023 to advertise a proposal for a change to the detailed plan for the plot at Hverfisgata 22, in accordance with section 1 of Article 43 of the Planning Act No. 123/2010. This is a change to the 'Miðbær Hraun vestur' detailed plan.

The amendment to the detailed plan involves rebuilding the existing dwelling on the plot. Two detached houses on the plot, 22 B Hverfisgata, will be demolished and permission will be granted to build new single-storey buildings in their place. The site's building envelope will be extended to the southern and western boundaries. Conditions regarding a community hall and a footpath on the site will be removed. The maximum site coverage will be 0.65.

The proposal will be on display at the Hafnarfjörður Service Centre, Strandgata 6, and at the Department of Environment and Planning, Norðurhellu 2, from 16.03. to 27.04.2023. The planning application can also be viewed below.
