Possible traffic delays due to the Hauka Pentecost Run
Monday, 9th June, between 10:00 and 13:00 The Hauka Pentecost Run will be held on the Ásbrautin and the paths by Ástjörn, Hvaleyrarvatn and Stórhöfði.
Monday, 9th June, between 10:00 and 13:00 The Haukar Pentecost Run will take place on the Ásbrautin and the paths at Ástjörn, Hvaleyrarvatn and Stórhöfði. Hvaleyrarvatnsvegur will be open, but traffic will be manually controlled to allow runners to cross it. Traffic will also need to be controlled over Ásvallabraut where the path to Hvaleyrarvatn crosses the road.
Traffic will be stopped at Ásbraut, Haukatorg and Ásatorg for a few minutes while the race is started.
