Award from the Education Council to Hraunvallaskolinn
Hraunvallaskóli received recognition from the Hafnarfjörður Education Council in 2015.
In 2015, Hraunvallar School received an award from the Hafnarfjörður Education Council for its innovation and development work in the school's lower secondary phase. In recent years, the school's work at the junior secondary school level has been reorganised and further developed based on individualised pedagogy, taking the teaching environment (the school building) into account.
The aim of the Education Council's award is to highlight the importance of school work in the community and to recognise individual projects that promote school development, collaboration and initiative. The award is presented annually.
