Main pipeline renewal on Álfaskeiði
The replacement of the main water pipes is currently underway on Álfaskeið in Hafnarfjörður, specifically from the Veitur control room, located between Fjarðarhraun and Álfaskeið 96, to a pumping station on Lækjargata, along Álfaskeið and Sólvangsvegur.
The project period is 18 November 2022 – 30 September 2023
Main pipeline renewal is currently underway in Álfaskeið, Hafnarfjörður, specifically from the Veitur control centre, located between Fjarðarhraun and Álfaskeið 96, to a pumping station on Lækjargata, along Álfaskeið and Sólvangsveg. Appropriate signage has been put up in the area to indicate diversions for pedestrians and motorists, to ensure safety. Increased traffic from construction vehicles and other disruption can be expected during the works.
