Roadworks will take place at Bæjarhraun/Fjarðarhraun, on the island between the streets, from 25 November at 08:00 to 20 August 2026 at 18:00. Work will be carried out on the district heating system. The work is entirely on the island between the roads and the roads will therefore not be closed. A footpath from Bæjarhraun to Hjallahraun will be shifted and a diversion will be signposted.
