Roadworks – Hlíðarberg updated
Due to roadworks, Hlíðarberg, from Dalshlíð to Klettahlíð, will be closed from 10:00 on 24 October until 16:30 on 11 November. See updated information.
Due to roadworks, Hlíðarberg, from Dalshlíð to Klettahlíð, will be closed from 10:00 on Thursday, 24th October until 16:30 on Monday, 11th November. Roadworks are being carried out, and the road will be closed completely from Dalshlíð to Klettahlíð for the duration of the work. See the updated information below in the notice.

Work will continue on Hlíðarberg from Dalshlíð to Klettahlíð until Christmas. The plan is to have the cut closed and the road fully open to traffic by then. The surfacing will wait until the weather permits. However, Hlíðarberg will be opened to traffic at the end of next week or the beginning of the week after that. After that, Klettahlíð will be partially open from the junction of Klettahlíð – Fagrahlíð to the junction of Klettahlíð – Hlíðarberg (as shown by the green line).
