Who is eligible for the elderly transport service?

Residents in Hafnarfjörður who are 67 years of age or older. Other requirements are:

• Living independently.
• Don't own a car.
• Unable to use public transport.

How do you apply for a taxi service?

It is applied for on Our pages. If applying for more than 8 trips, a written assessment from a professional regarding the need must be provided, for example, a doctor or a physiotherapist.

How to book a ride?

Teitur Jónasson Ltd. provides a specialised transport service, and single and regular journeys can be booked and cancelled by telephone. 515 2720 and at the email address ferd@teitur.is

515 2720. Orders must be placed at least two hours in advance. If there is less than 24 hours until the trip, it is best to call. The out-of-hours emergency number is 660 0140

The customer service opening hours are from 8:00 to 16:00 on weekdays.

What time is the drive?

The service runs daily from 6:30 am to midnight. On public holidays, it runs from 10 am to 10 pm.
