Due to the celebrations and parade on the first day of summer, Thursday, 24th April, The following streets will be temporarily closed to traffic, between 11:45 and 14:00.

Parade. From 13:15 – 13:45
The route will be from Thor's Square along Strandgata, through the Town Square, into Vesturgata, through Merkurtorg, Vesturtorg and Flókatorg, along Flókagata, then turning into Hraunbrún and up Garðarveg, finishing at Víðistaðatún.
Cross-country running From 11:45-13:30
Strandgata from Lækjargata to Linnetstíg, Linnetstíg from Strandgata to Austurgata. East Road from Linnet Path to Lækjargata, Mjósund between East Road and Strandgata.
