The City of Hafnarfjörður invites tenders for cleaning services for various municipal institutions and council-owned flats. The project involves cleaning the City of Hafnarfjörður's institutions, as well as supplying all sanitary products and handling their refills. Kindergartens in Hafnarfjörður are generally open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on all weekdays, with the exception of public holidays. Primary schools in Hafnarfjörður operate for at least 180 days a year, or in accordance with the published school year. Cleaning is therefore organised accordingly. The town's social services manage around 160 flats and require cleaning. The project also includes other units and institutions of the City of Hafnarfjörður, such as the town hall and museums, which require cleaning all year round.
