The Strand (from Reykjavíkurvegur to Lækjargata) will be transformed into a pedestrianised street and closed to car traffic during the opening hours of the Christmas village, until 23 December 2024.

Strandgatan (from Reykjavíkurvegur to Lækjargata) will be transformed into a pedestrianised street and will therefore be closed to car traffic during the opening hours of the Christmas village on the following days and
until 23 December 2024:

  • Every Friday From 15th November – closed from 5pm-8pm
  • All weekends From 15th November – closed from 1pm-6pm
  • The car park at the library Everything will be closed from 24th October to 5th January.
