Vidistaðaskóli knew the answer
Do you know the answer? The Hafnarfjörður youth centre quiz competition got off to a flying start at the beginning of February. The final was then held at Bæjarbíó this week, where the teams from Víðistaðaskóli and Lækjarskóli went head-to-head. It was the Víðistaðaskóli team that ultimately emerged as the winner.
Vídistaðaskóli and Lækjarskóli met in the final
Do you know the answer? The Hafnarfjörður youth centre quiz competition got off to a flying start in early February. In the semi-finals, nine teams competed, and the teams from Setbergsskóli, Öldutúnsskóli, Lækjarskóli and Víðistaðaskóli advanced to the four-team final. The four-team final took place on 20 February, where Víðistaðaskóli faced Öldutúnsskóli and Lækjarskóli faced Setbergsskóli. The final was then held at Bæjarbíó this week, where the teams from Víðistaðaskóli and Lækjarskóli went head-to-head. The atmosphere in the cultural centre was electric, and it was the Víðistaðaskóli team who were ultimately crowned the winners of Veistu svarið 2023, with 30 points to Lækjarskóli's 17. Árni Stefán Guðjónsson was the quizmaster and question writer.

The group's coaches were Birkir Már Viðarsson and Kristmundur Guðmundsson.
