Students of the Hafnarfjörður School of Choreography wrote a new chapter in the school's history at the weekend when they achieved exceptional success at an international dance competition in Dublin, Ireland. The school's team returned home with two world championship titles, victory in the competition's grand final, and a host of other awards following a spectacular performance.

Harry Potter one of the overall winners of the Gala competition
The acts Harry Potter and EAT both became world champions in their respective categories and were also invited to the competition's Gala, where only the winners of the individual categories get the opportunity to perform again. The winning streak continued there as Harry Potter took the win and became one of the overall winners of the Gala competition. In addition to the world championship titles, the Hafnarfjörður School of Classical Ballet won three bronze medals and a fifth-place finish in other categories. This success is the result of countless hours of practice, ambition, teamwork and a passion for classical ballet.
