Outdoor Artwork – Smart Guide Listening to Artwork – an event on Facebook
The Library of Hafnarfjörður, in collaboration with Hafnarborg, is presenting a digital fusion of form and sound around the outdoor artworks of Hafnarfjörður's town centre. A walking trail in the town centre leads people between selected outdoor artworks, which are marked with a QR code. When a phone is held up to the code, information about the artwork appears along with a short excerpt from the literary world. It takes around 40 minutes to visit all the works and listen to each recording. The walk is on a paved, level surface, making it suitable for anyone interested, regardless of fitness or age.
