Closures on the Reykjanes Highway
Due to asphalting works, the southbound carriageway of the Reykjanesbraut between Krýsuvíkurvegur and Ásbraut will be closed to traffic on Wednesday, 02.08.17 and Thursday, 03.08.17 from 19:00 each evening and overnight. A signed diversion for traffic is via Vallahverfi in Hafnarfjörður.

Free school in Hafnarfjörður
The Education Committee of Hafnarfjörður approved today to pay for school supplies for all primary school children. The Education Committee proposes that, from this coming autumn, the municipality of Hafnarfjörður will provide primary school pupils with learning materials, i.e. stationery and exercise books, free of charge.
