The progress book of the month is 'Vík milli vina' (1983) by Ólafur Haukur Símonarson.

This is the story of a group of people in their forties who have stuck together since secondary school, and for some, even longer. Most of them were also studying in Copenhagen during the heady years around 1968, when the future was bright and their ideals were so great they were determined to put them into practice. Now those years are behind them, and they are all busy with their own lives, at home and abroad; an architect, an actress, a weaver, a writer… What has become of all that they believed in and intended to do?

This is the last Framfarar meeting this winter.
