Is your head full of ideas? Are you interested in both crime fiction and fantasy? Fancy trying your hand at blending different ideas? Then the upcoming flash fiction workshop at Hafnarfjörður Library is for you: 14th May, 16:30-18:30.

The writer Emil Hjörvar Petersen leads the workshop; he is known for blending literary genres. He has written ten novels, including the award-winning *Vigrhólar*, a crime fantasy, and the hugely popular *Dauðaleit*, a crime horror. Before the discussion and writing begin, Emil gives a brief overview of plot structure, what to bear in mind when writing, and encourages participants to have fun. No idea is far-fetched; you can work with anything, you just have to find the way.

Minor Crimes and Wonders is part of the 'Crime Wave in Iceland for 25 Years' event series, held to mark the 25th anniversary of the Icelandic Crime Writers' Association.

Participation is free of charge, 30 places are available and registration is via email. Send to: bokasafn@hafnarfjordur.is

Pens and paper will be provided, but participants are welcome to bring their own notebooks and/or laptops.
