Are we ever too young for crime stories? Before Holmes goes up against the Baskerville Hound and before Erlendur endures a brutal day, there are other crimes. Teachers who vanish, unsavoury animals shitting on the heads of moles.

We are never too young for crime stories.

And we are never too young to write crime stories.

In this workshop, author Ragnheiður Gestsdóttir, will introduce young writers to the world of crime fiction in a fun and creative workshop, specially designed for teenagers with an interest in a little bit of illegal thrills who want to try their hand at writing crime stories. The workshop is aimed at 14-year-olds and over. Ragnheiður is well acquainted with this age group, being the author of the novel Úr Myrkrinu, which has received great acclaim from readers in that age group.

Registration for the workshop is now open, and places are limited. Please register by email: bokasafn@hafnarfjordur.is
