All the arts return! Four authors, a lovely evening, music, refreshments and entertainment for all residents of Hafnarfjörður who want to be swept away by the wonderful Christmas book flood!
We are, of course, blessed with wonderful guests, but this time we have four authors with us: , Ragnheiður Gestsdóttir, Tómas R. Einarsson, Vigdís Grímsdóttir and Vilborg Davíðsdóttir – all stalwarts of their field – have arrived with Christmas cheer and their hot new books.
As before, Arndís Þórarinsdóttir leads the conversation with her customary brilliance, and during the interval, the quartet Barbari, gentlemen of the first rank, perform barbershop music, characterised by a lively chord progression, tight harmony and great vocal virtuosity.
The quartet consists of Gunnar Thor Örnólfsson, Karl Hjaltason, Páll Sólmundur H. Eydal and Ragnar Pétur Jóhannsson.
All the crafts have already established themselves in the event calendar of the Hafnarfjörður Library, and places are often limited, so we ask people to arrive in good time. The building opens at 19:40 and the programme begins at 20:00.
